So, you’re looking for an affordable family retreat for your next trip, but you’re struggling for ideas? Don’t worry, look no further than these five places.

5 Affordable Family Holiday Retreats

1. Serenity Retreat, Greece

The Serenity Retreat is a great place to visit if you’re interested in showing your family relaxation techniques. There is a lot of meditation and that kind of thing going on there, so you should make sure everyone is up for that before they go. If they are up for it, you’re sure to have a great time there. The retreat is in a stunning location on the island of Lefkada off the coast of Greece. One thing is for sure; you’re certain to come back more chilled and relaxed than you were when you left.

2. Sugar Beach, St. Lucia

If you have kids that are getting slightly older, and they want to get active and have fun in the wild, consider Sugar Beach. It’s located in St. Lucia, and it offers a five or six-day program for you and your family. In that time, you can spend time out on the water boating and other sailing-related activities. Most of the activities take place on the water, so that is something to keep in mind. If your family already has a love of boats and sailing, then this really could be the ideal retreat for you.

3. Eden Roc Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

The Dominican Republic is known for being one the most relaxed and idyllic places on the planet. And that reputation is earned. It really is the kind of place where you can go to and forget all your worries for a while. There are not too many places you can say that about. At the Eden Roc Punta Cana, there is something for everyone. The adults can kick back and enjoy the beauty of the place. And, for the kids, there is the Koko Kid’s Club for them to attend and have fun at.

4. The Clover Mill, UK

Everything is taken care for you when you visit the Clover Mill. You get to do what you like and the staff work to make sure that you and your family do what is right for you. The setting is a 17th-century water mill that is simply stunning. You can’t imagine a better setting for calm and relaxation. The lodges are eco-lodges, and all the food is cooked and is 100% organic. This means that your health, as well as your overall well-being, will be given a boost while you’re there.

5. Four Seasons, Nevis

If you’re looking for somewhere that you and your family can not only relax but also get close to nature, Four Seasons is the place. On the islands of St. Kitts and Nevis, this resort is focused on educating children and adults about marine wildlife. The most prominent focus is put on the turtle population. Of course, the kids are not obliged to attend all the classes; they can do what they like. But the stunning location alone is enough to make you want to pack your bags and head there immediately.
