Have you been riding the snow for as long as you can remember? Do you live to experience the perfect powder and peace of the backcountry? Do you keep pushing to find your next adrenaline rush on the mountain?

At ERGO we have been working to bring, what we believe, is a specialist and unique winter sports travel insurance product covering a wide range of the most extreme activities the mountains have to offer. As the name would suggest this upgrade is aimed at Pro Skiers and Snowboarders.
If you’re the type of rider who is experienced enough to ride the backcountry without a guide, finding that perfect untouched powder away from the busy slopes and tracked out slopeside snow, then this is the insurance for you.

Winter Sports Pro Ski Insurance

When you’re in the park you know that you are taking more of a risk than the average rider and therefore you need to get that extra cover. This means you can hike that park all day long and keep practising until you nail that switch rodeo 540 all of your mates can pull off.

Our pro upgrade level of insurance encompasses backcountry touring, heli-skiing, cat-skiing and now park and pipe as well, giving pro skiers and snowboarders the cover they need to practice, perfect and enjoy all of the amazing experiences the mountain has to offer.

Want to get off the mountain? No problem, there’s also a variety of different non-winter sports activities you are covered for, refer to the policy wordings for more information.

Whatever your level, safety is still paramount and we strongly recommend you wear the right protective gear on the snow, see Safety On Snow for more information on how to choose the right helmet and back protector.

So if you are a budding Katie Summerhayes or Jenny Jones and want to make sure you’re looked after, then our Winter Sports Pro policy may be for you.

Single trip policies are available for up to 276 days (approximately 9 months), also you have the ability to increase cancellation cover on Black to £10,000 which is designed for riders who are participating on instructor courses, so your fee’s are protected should the unfortunate occur.

Please note: There also a variety of different non winter sports activities you are covered for, please refer to the policy wordings for more information.
